Mad River Festival
I will be returning to Dell’ Arte’s Mad River Festival for the third consecutive year in the position of Assistant Technical Director. My main responsibilities include lighting design for close to ten original pieces of theatre in a one month window, carpentry and electrics support, and run crew for the festivals many events. I also oversee general grounds and theatre maintenance for an outdoor amphitheater, a 100 seat raked audience house, 5 rehearsal spaces, and several company storage facilities.
Cahoot!?
Cahoot is a group of 5 Dell’ Arte International graduates including myself, Emilia Björk Perkins, Gaby Haught, Jacob Timmons, and Eric Jones. We are currently moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota to found a physical theatre company devising new work in and for the community. We consider ourselves artistic pioneers standing at the edge of the unknown, ready to pave the way for both innovators and idealists. We believe that theatre forges community through shared experience - it is necessary and must be accessible for everyone. We desire to subvert artistic expectations, to breathe life into stagnant spaces, and to spark conversations instead of extinguishing them
Lamp and Eusteus
My wife Emilia Björk Perkins and I are taking our two solo shows “Home?” and “Goodnight Mary” and combining them into one full length night of theatre! We explore the relationship between family, home, and letting go of the past in order to hold onto the present.
